Does my child really need a one-on-one facilitator?

Our goal for a school year is to gradually move each child from requiring more one-on-one help, to almost none by the end of the year.

If any of the following sound like your child, a one-on-one facilitator might be a good fit:

  • Requires some emotional or physical support throughout the day
  • Thrives when assistance is offered in social situations
  • Academic support or one-on-one learning of specific skills (social, literacy, attention)
  • A speech, language, or developmental delay
  • Is most successful when one person is monitoring their progress and making individualized adjustments throughout the year.
To discuss your concerns, please contact us at 404-245-7981 or saren@sagespeech.com.

See Below for additional FAQ's about SAGE Facilitators:

WHAT IS A CLASSROOM FACILITATOR?

A facilitator's goal is for their student to be successful in the classroom; academically, socially and behaviorally.

*Most facilitators have an educational background in a child related field, such as Speech, Occupational Therapy, Special Ed, Counseling, and Psychology.

*Facilitators will help their student participate in and transition between activities, provide encouragement and adapt materials to their student's needs.  Daily communication is also provided to parents!
